Me and my husband spent Forth of July and my birthday at Sylvia’s with my parents. We loved the location and the privacy that it allowed us to have. The view was beautiful and we loved eating outside and listening to the birds and the river. The property is very quiet, but convenient to town and the Christoval Vineyard! You could see the stars at night and hear the river down below. Very peaceful! The cabin was comfortable, adorable, and had nearly everything we needed to make the stay convenient! Loved hearing about the history of the property and especially loved all the visits from Little Bit and Storm (Sylvia’s dogs), they were precious. We fell in love with this place, fishing, playing in the river, and just enjoying the views. Sylvia was very friendly, flexible, and easy to work with! We will be back!

If you're looking for West Texas Southern Comfort, look no farther !! This place is so cozy and comfortable, you'll wish you'd stayed longer. The words relaxing, peaceful, beautiful do not do it justice!! We stayed in the cottage and loved it ! By all means you MUST bring one of the chairs down and sit in the river and enjoy your favorite drink, it is beyond wonderful. Enjoying morning coffee on the porch watch the deer was an awesome start to our days. We caught nice perch, catfish, and bass in the river.Not far from San Angelo, so if you have to have some night life you can be there in a few minutes. Sylvia is a wonderful host and will help you with any needs you may have. If you're looking for a B&B in San Angelo this is your place.Looking forward to another stay with all the grandchildren next time !!

This place is the perfect hidden paradise. The property and cottage are gorgeous! The cottage we stayed in was cozy and romantic, with the river yards away from the lovely porch. Sipping coffee in the morning, watching the birds and wildlife play, listening to the river flow was heaven. There is so many things available to do on the property from fishing, water play, canoeing, tubing, all right there. Sylvia has prepared the spaces with such a lovely charm, thinking of everything someone may need to make their stay enjoyable. She has prepared the property for almost any need, from a romantic escape, a friends weekend away, to a family reunion, this property is the perfect cozy paradise. Sylvia gave us privacy but was a phone call or text away if we needed anything or had an issue. I will be returning. The town of Christoval is a perfect retreat, with a winery right next door, and horse stables for trail rides down the road. I do intend next time to bring a couple of steaks to utilize the grill provided and hopefully book a couple of more nights as 2 just didn't seem to be enough time to enjoy all of the possible activities available in the small town. Thank you Sylvia for one of the best experiences that we could have asked for.

The grounds are sooo pretty..it was a gorgeous place for a wedding. But the cabins were REALLY hot and the air conditioning just wasn't cool enough for me. Other than that, it was nice.
